# RecordMint

> RecordMint is an independent introducer for owners of established businesses. Its free, two-minute fit check helps a company see whether its historical operating records (email threads, tickets, project files, CRM notes and similar) might be worth a conversation with AI developers or data brokers that license business records. RecordMint is not a buyer, not an AI company and not a law firm.

Key facts:

- The fit check is free, asks five quick questions and shares no files.
- During the check and any follow-up call, no company records are shared.
- If there is a plausible match, and only with the owner's OK, RecordMint introduces the company to a buyer or broker the owner can vet.
- Any deal is directly between the company and the buyer or broker, reviewed by the company's own counsel. The owner can say no at any point.
- RecordMint may be paid a referral or introduction fee by the buyer or broker, disclosed before anything is signed. The business pays RecordMint nothing.
- Nothing is guaranteed: not a match, an offer or a payment. RecordMint does not publish price estimates and does not name buyers or claim partnerships with AI labs.
- Screening guidelines (not buyer rules): US or Canada, roughly 30+ desk staff on shared systems, 5+ years of records the company owns, 3+ systems in daily use. Healthcare and client-restricted data may not qualify.
